Three-story addition into existing hospital
structures. |
| SPECIAL FEATURES: |
This project involved building a three-story
addition in a horseshoed shaped courtyard of the existing
building. This required tying into the existing hospital on
three sides of the new structure and extensive coordination
with services, staff and patients. In addition, the south
portion of the structure was designed to provide seismic support
to the Acute Care Tower, and required further structural connections. |
